Theyve done a pretty good job of it on dog breeders and now go on to new conquests. Those that have poo pooed us dog breeders that have been sending out warnings saying pay attention, learn, take pro active measures will be finding out. No, it wont happen all at once. HSUS worked for nearly 20 yrs. building their foundation against dog breeders. They are patient and very calculated. There is NOTHING they do that doesnt fit within their plan somewhere. They prepare themselves for a lost battle by having another readily replaceable plan. Latest example is the horse slaughter. A judge gave the go ahead for plants to open and HSUS immediately filed another injunction. As soon as I heard the news, I knew this would be the HSUS tactic. How? Im a dog breeder and have seen them in action for years following their very successful game plan. Granted some have won against the HSUS, but the retribution is dragged out for years and years in an effort to bleed the innocents dry. ALL animal producers need to join together to help each other out as the end game plan for HSUS is the same. Destroy. Sadly there are just way too many coat tailers and not enough doers. Thats why the dog world is now in dire straits. It will happen to livestock producers, too, if people dont get on board to protect their industry. You are NOT too big to fail.
