And sometimes I feel lost & lonely...I think about how I work so hard everyday to better my life since I come from an extremely poor Cape Verdean roots background working since I was 8 years old to help pay the bills at home...I think about the struggle to move 3,000 miles away from home to pursue a new life in California while going through the turmoil of a divorce with the one I loved and only knowing a few people in my new life...yeah, life is difficult, but then when I think about the homeless and people who have no parents, no family, no job, no money at all and absolutely nothing to live for, I am truly thankful for all of my blessings! Please dont take what you have for granted because there is always someone way worse off than you! Thank you JESUS for all you have given me and help me to continue to help take those less fortunate than me to a better place in life! AMEN!
