And sometimes its just easier to agree than disagree. Today, sure, you have an opinion. But is it worth the headache? Is it truly worth arguing about? Learn how to pick your battles. Contrary to your belief, God doesnt want everything in your life to be a fight. You shouldnt be known as the aggressive, combative person. God wants you to be agreeable sometimes. God wants you to go with the flow sometimes. Its ok. That doesnt mean youre weak. That doesnt mean you have no backbone. It means youre more concerned with pleasing God than pleasing yourself. It means you know how to control your flesh. Thats important. God doesnt want you just flying off the handle all the time. You represent Him at all times. Youre His example, youre His light. Learn how to control your emotions and flesh. Ask God to help you before you get started. When you feel your emotions rising up, stop before you lose control. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you strength to keep your mind at peace and your mouth closed. We ask God for many things, but its nothing wrong with asking Him for help in our everyday life, in our everyday struggles. Thats what God is here for, not just for the big things, but the little things too. Remember that.
