And that concludes another wonderful evening of Impress Me Monday - TopicsExpress

And that concludes another wonderful evening of Impress Me Monday here at life beyond the hamper. Lets dive right on it, shall we? There are a few stand outs tonight that I just have to mention. Becky Pate tried to pass off some warmed up SpaghettiOs, but her son turned it down and ate a bagel and an orange instead. Smart boy! Then there was Bobbie Jo Hs sweet son who offered to take his Christmas money and buy the whole family something fabulous from McDonalds for supper. Nice gesture, but we all know he probably would have only let them order from the dollar menu. Then there was Connie Nanney, who cooked tonight out of pure guilt because she ordered pizza last night. Thats impressive. And before I get to the winners you all voted for, I just have to mention Alta Dutton-Seaux and her catastrophe of a meal. Poor thing fried some pork chops and made like 10 different kinds of veggies to go with it. She sits down with her plate and the cat jumps in her lap...sending the plate sailing towards the floor where the food was then consumed by the dog. LoL. I wonder how much cat nip that dog promised the cat for helping him get his supper!? Tonights bronze prize will be split between Stephanie Taylor and Nikki Howden!! Congratulations girls for whipping up a noteworthy supper indeed. Stephanies ribeye, steak fries, and garlic knots surely hit the spot! And Nikkis pot roast slow cooked to perfection all day long...pairing up perfectly with her twice baked potatoes, peas, and cornbread. Great job ladies...you two impressed!! Tonights silver prize goes to Andrea Strickland!! Her sweet hubby coached a middle school basketball team to victory and then felt the need to celebrate by eating at Taco Bell. Hey, whatever floats your boat Mr. Strickland. Taco Bell isnt impressive, but coaching a team to victory certainly is! Good job! And finally, our big winner tonight is Gina Griffin and her clever self!! Please come to the podium and accept your gold prize Gina! She made two things...but did those two things so well that she felt the need to pat her own back. It isnt every day that one can make pork chops that melt in your mouth, is it!? She admittingly surprised herself by mixing some concoction of spices together and just going with the flow. Turns out the chops were truly impressive!! Way to go Gina, keep it spicy!!! You guys have a wonderful night...and thanks for playing along and making this something fun. XO-the Laundry Fairy
