And the 3rd edition of the Istanbul International Dance Festival is over.... That is a weird feeling after having worked so intensively for weeks to make it happen. But the whole of our team DID make it happen! Although we had many and big challenges to face. Thats why it calls for a big word of thanks to all people involved. First of all I would like to thank Ibrahim Keskin and Kemal Keskin as the organizers, for giving me the opportunity to be a big part of the organization of such a huge event. And also for trusting me and believing in me to give me such a responsibility. Secondly, I would like to thank the team who worked so hard during the festival, and who may not be in the spotlight as much as others, but were an essential part of the organization. Such as: Yunus, Cemal Çandar, Selin and Sehri. Furthermore, I would like to thank my production and backstage team who were incredible and life savers! Just the kind of people you want in a crisis; reliable, capable and no ego! :) They are Eric S. Lalta SdsFantasia, Cyldra Schierbeek, Esin Ozel, Serkan Övet, Dilara and Osman. Because of them the showcases went very smoothly, in spite of all the challenges we had to face. Not to forget Melissa Fernandez II and Luis Vazquez for their amazing hosting of our showcases. Real professionals! And of course great thanks to the hard work of Deejay Pan, and Isabell Ksusha Holy and Deniz Seven for taking over some of my work load. Without them the festival wouldnt be the same. Thank you, Thank you! And up to the next edition!
