And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, The Lord is with you, mighty man of valor! Judges 6:12 The Lords estimation of us often differs from our own. God saw Gideon as a mighty man of valor. Gideon saw himself as weak and little (Judg. 6:15). When we believe God and not ourselves, we become what He says we are. (Taken from Life Principles Bible) How many of us can relate to how Gideon saw himself? We look at ourselves and maybe see our past and the next thing you know we are saying there is no way God can use me I messed up to much in my past for God ever to use me. However, God sees what we do not. He sees who He created us to be. If we just trust Him and remember if God calls you to it He will equip you to do what He has asked you to do. He doesnt call the equipped, He equips the called.
