And , the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him ( Male ) , Where art thou ? Genesis 3:9 Adam answers God saying , I heard your voice ( which was not uncommon ) in the garden and I was afraid ( frighten or scared ) , BECAUSE I was naked ( just realizing his and womans nakedness ) ; and I hid myself . Verse 10 After all this time in the garden , fellowshipping with God . Suddenly Adam is scared to appear before God and talk with Him .Why ? Adam/male had disobeyed Gods Word . If Adam /male had been at his post of duty like he was suppose to be, first of all he would have know an Intruder (serpent ) was in the garden . He had named everything in the garden and should have recognized the INTRUDER.The serpent played his game well though., He goes to ADAM /woman and tempts woman . The serpent first changes Gods word ...the exact thing he continues to do today in our society . God forbids certain things and yet mankind still wants what God does not allow for them to have . They are still satisfying their own lust of the flesh .Yet , mankind finds a way to get around Gods Word ....or...so it would seem ! The serpent still does the same things that he did in the garden .Why ? Because it still works with so many . Adam wasnt looking after his household .He lies and then places the blame totally on Adam/woman....verse 12 of Genesis 3. Now God calls all man kind to accountability.... .Both male and female .In the day that God created man , in the likeness of God made he him . (verse 2 ) Male and Female created He them ; and blessed them , and CALLED THEIR NAME ADAM , in the day that they were created . GENESIS 5:1 & 2 God calls us male and female, ADAM . Adam named woman EVE .The point I am getting at , is in the spiritual we are created as Adam .We get our surname from man . Adam/woman was guilty ! Just as Adam/man was . God called the head of the household forward . Both suffered the consequences of their sin ; even as we do today .Both male and female had an appointment in the garden . It was to be a close friend and to keep a watch over the garden . The place where one fellowshipped with God .Sin will take you away from Fellowship with God. And your children will also reap what you have sown . God want a Close relation ship with us , He desires to be our Father, our Friend , our GOD .Will we keep His Word OR will we like ADAM / woman and male disobey His Word .
