And..... the bizarre things continue after I thought yesterday was bizarre enough. Thank goodness I am home now. I like being home more and more-- The morning started out great -- I gave my two friends (that are retiring this year from teaching) their drawing I did for each of them which is framed and their colleagues sign the mats. There was a whole lotta love! I have so much respect for them! Then.... I almost threw up eating my breakfast in Panera-- Why? WHY??? You ask with anticipation!!! I know this is thrilling suspense. Five feet away from me... a woman laid her baby down on the bench part of a table section (so there was nothing obstructing my crystal-clear view)... and proceeded to change her babys SH*TTY diaper!!! The babys bare rear-end was ON THE SEAT! My jaw was literally hanging down... I had watched the scene unfold with just the wipes out at first (and I said to myself... oh no.. you arent gonna.... then baby was laid down on her back... my mouth dropped more with each sequential diaper changing step. I didnt even realize how much my mouth was hanging down-- the mother and her friend didnt seem to have a care about anything and quite honestly I didnt care if they saw my lower jaw on the floor and my horror-stricken face! Suppressing the vomit coming up in my throat, I went over to the counter and told the staff about the sh*t fanny on the bench... I know, I know... you are asking yourself Well, is there a diaper-changing table in the bathroom? YES!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Ok... some of you may say-- man Cindy is so crabby... who cares!.. This scene was just a reminder to me how clueless some people are and it was connecting to events from yesterday, where clueless, vindictive people are hurting my friends and children and I am so enraged that this is happening to nice people that have not done anything hurtful to the clueless. I will pray for the clueless mom (that, by the way, has accomplished flat -backed baby head -- my first clue that she didnt have a clue)...AND I will continue to pray for my friends AND for the people that have no clue how horrifying their words and actions are -- Pathetic examples of life. Other things happened after that during my errands, so I am glad to be home. May the bizarre/mean events and people CEASE for goodness sake! And...That MOTHER NEEDS TO GO TO DIAPERS ANONYMOUS -- confessions of moms leaving poop debris on eating establishment seats!
