And then this happened 😢😢 It has been a rough morning. For some time a cat or raccoon or skunk has been making Atticus crazy around the windows. He hisses and gets so fired up. This morning he knocked over a glass vase that was on a table. He jumped down onto the glass and his back paw was cut. Bleeding and angry as we tried to assess his wound, Atticus was clearly needing help. We went to the Hastings animal hospital. Thankfully they saw him quickly. He may need stitches but the vet was hoping it will heal naturally. We will monitor it daily to see healing. If not then he will have it repaired. Needless to say we are shocked and saddened by this. He bled quite a bit. This morning he had an antibiotic injection and a pain injection. The vet cleansed and dressed his paw. He was sure he will be okay. Alexis, Chris and I feel sad for him. 😢 healing vibes appreciated.
