And this is why I KNOW that my kids will be fine when I am not around... My daughter Sarah has a friend at school who decided she liked my son Tommy... Now this girl is a couple of grades ahead of my kids and so they wont be going to school together next year. Sarah told her friend, well you all wont see one another next year as much is that going to be a problem? To which her friend said, Nah, Ill just find a new boyfriend. When Sarah jumped up and told the girl, My brother isnt disposable! We cant be friends anymore. And walked off, the other girls who were sitting together commented that Sarah was never going to be okay with anyone who didnt value her brother. My kids blow my mind all the time, remember these are the kids who are nasty to one another, tell each other horrible things and are selfish with one another CONSTANTLY... Ah, but, darling dont hurt one or the other, because the world of pain and misery coming your way is beyond impressive. One day Ill not be around to see this happen, but I know, I feel it, how truly wonderful these two are. Im a lucky mom. Happy Friday everyone.
