And this is why the way celebrities behave and the way the act matters. Because what they do normalizes what is acceptable societal behavior. Have a celebs making homophobic remarks? Guess what, people like this lady are going to think those remarks are acceptable and act on them. Uncritically celebrating celebrities who makes these sort of remarks is basically giving encouragement agreement to the sorts behavior in which this women engaged.
