And today just got harder. I think somewhere in the back of my mind I wanted to believe she was just staying overnight at NSV. Today the final realization that she is gone came. I went to go pick her up from NSV. She was carefully placed in a beautiful handmade box with a special note from the place who cremated her. I am relieved to finally bring her home. She is now here again with her sister Jaggers. I plan to get to custom urns made for both of them that are special. I will rescue another cat again, not yet, but in time. I am very involved in rescue work and I am a firm believer, that when one fur angel finishes their job here, they leave the gate open for another fur baby to be saved and to save us in return.
