And we agreed that we would get a cab every time we leave a hotel to the station/airport and vice-versa. We got off the cab, the backpacks seemed easier for Deeps and she was smiling. We laughed about how difficult it was yesterday and a tip for backpacks, use cushioning like a jacket , dont be like me who had a thin tank top on the previous day and have bruises near my shoulder that look like gulshan grover and shakti Kapoor chased all around the train station!Follow the tip! We changed 3 trains to get to Lucerne, Switzerland, the views were fabulous. The good thing here is you see dogs being taken around so easily, we kind of pictured how Bali and scotch could travel with us next time. Its a different thing that Bali cant stand the sight of Scotch and has scarred Scotch for life , when he was a puppy visiting my house but Deeps and me have decided to give it one more shot when we get back to get them to be friends .So the other thing is that both Deeps and I have a bird phobia ( there is some term for it, what is it???),those who know me can tell you even a pigeon , crow and sparrow can give me a near-death experience and Ive had so many :-(And its Europe, the pigeons rule this continent I think, the hundreds of palaces should house them and not let them out, especially to the train station. We frightened or rather made a few old people nervous because of our sudden shrieks on seeing a pigeon almost walk and fly into us ( fear makes you believe , its coming after you). Phew!On reaching Lucerne we were surprised to see family waiting for us (Kierans sister(Vani), brother in law (ranga)and my niece (nayantara)and nephew(anirudh). Its a very beautiful place, we had a blast driving our own boat, dancing to awesome music!Thank you for coming to see us Vani Ranganatha and Ranga:-)!For Deeps, until we went on the boat ride , she kept telling me if you like these mountains , you should go see how breathtakingly beautiful our Mt.everest is, but on seeing the mountains and the lake and the greenery all together, she has approved and put a stamp on this one too! We are waiting for my most interesting friend Chengi to arrive, our trip from now on can only get more entertaining!
