And were live! This new interactive tool maps 52 schools - most of them one-room rural schoolhouses - that primarily were in the area that is now the Mount Horeb Area School District. The schools are there individually, with old and new photos of the sites, as well as collectively on a map. Use it to go for a drive to check out the schools or to do some family history. This is an all-volunteer effort that combines current technology with the Historical Societys vast resources. Enjoy!
