And while we celebrate, lets not forget to congratulate our sisters who did not make it in the National Elections. Ladies, I know it must have been a very difficult step to take. Even to decide to contest was a mountain on its own, but you decided to do it! You are brave, courageous and beautiful. You went out there against the odds and the numerous cynics because you had the determination and concern for your people. For that that we are all soooo proud of you! We lift our hats and hearts to you: Nelly Nori, Rhoda Sikilabu, Tilaila, Hilda Kari, Janet Hatimoana, Rose Anilabata, Ruth Votanugu, Delores Matangani, Katherine Nori, Helen Luiramo, Alice Pollard, Victoria Onika, Stella Kokopu, Noelyn Biliki, Catherine Adifaka, Annie Oromae, Joan Bessie Maegaasia, Margaret Maelaua, Matilda Tosa Elta, Julie Gegeu and any others that I may have missed; CONGRATULATIONS OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Use the experience that you have gained during this election for your personal and professional development and for the advancement of women in Solomon Islands especially those sisters around you and in your communities.
