And yes, I do get bombarded with asinine comments like these quite often. Most of my life, since my formative years, have I had to deal with similar comments. But the best ones are, when after speaking with me over the phone and they see me the comment is oh youre black, and during a phone conversation, some have the audacity to ask, are you black? The ability to articulate is simply an effective means of communicating across many different spectrums.
