And yet another gripping tale from the treasure chest of Lost Literature written some 53 years ago. I obviously had been influenced by Jules Vernes 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. In my day it was a classic but I wonder if anyone 30 years old or younger can get their snoot out of their IPod or TRod long enough to read a book. And so I proudly present........ The Strange Adventures Once there was a man named Captain Nemo. He had a three man crew on a submarine. The submarine had big windows to look out of. One day when they were twenty thousand leagues under the sea they thought they saw a naked man swimming by. The four men astonished by the sight fell backwards. After a little bit they went back to work. It took them four hours to get to the surface. When they got to the surface one of the crew named Jim opened up the hatch. The next minute a long arm snatched Jim and brought him outside. Quickly they closed the hatch and looked out the window. They saw a gigantic octopus just pulling Jim under water. The three men were sad at the loss of their companion. Then they went under the water again. This time when they were at the bottom they got into their diving suits and got their atomic guns. Then they went out. It was a very strange world down there. All of a sudden a ten foot shark came at them. A man named Pete shot the shark but the shark swerved and broke the glass part of the helmet and he drowned. The two men hurried back to the submarine and started to the surface. But just as they got started they saw the naked figure of a man coming toward them. It came straight at them and broke the sub window. Water came pouring in and drowned everybody.
