And yet another role model...From USA TODAY 49ers starter in jail on domestic violence charge San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald is in jail Sunday morning, held on $25,000 bail after an early morning arrest on a felony domestic violence charge, according to Santa Clara County Department of Corrections records. McDonald, 29, was booked into the jail at 5:30 a.m. Sunday after San Jose Police arrested him just before 3 a.m. at a home in suburban San Jose. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 15, the day after the Niners play a Sunday Night Football game against Chicago in Santa Clara. The 49ers organization is aware of the recent reports regarding Ray McDonald and we take such matters seriously, the 49ers said in a statement Sunday morning.
