“And you Philippians know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone” Phil 4:15. We can do God’s will in His strength alone, but it is a blessing to have a church that supports you! “For even in Thessalonica you sent gifts for my need several times” Phil 4:16. However, it’s interesting to note that of all the churches Paul planted only this one stepped up. Oh beloved, if your doing ministry know that many times you’ll fill out there on your own with little or no support, but know you can do His will because you can “do all things through Him who strengthens!” However, be grateful for those who are in the trenches supporting you!
