And you think Prestatyn is quiet? lol Earlier this morning the Pig Signal was seen in the sky over our house so the crazy pig lady donned her cape and out she went onto the streets in search of two little lost piggies that were on the loose up the mountain near our house. Joking aside, we were in shock as Police called at our house this morning. Peter answered the intercom and the caller identified themselves as the police and asked if we had two pigs. Peter said yes, and they then said they were running loose up the road. Peter was speechless, we ran outside to find our piggies were safe and sound then the police said the two little piggies were running around squealing and they needed my help! The police took me up to the area and I couldnt believe my eyes, someone had caught them with a rope and the piggies were either end held by a noose, as one was running away the other was being strangled. They were so stressed they were squealing everywhere so I quickly took over and with a second rope I made an improvised harness and lead which impressed everyone. lol I then tried to comfort them, poor little babies were exhausted and cold. But every time I went to reassure them as I had taken a bag of grapes with me, it was making them worse, so I kept everyone back and let them settle down. I got one of the neighbours to get some water for them and we waited for the police to return as they had gone to find a local farmer. Good news and a happy ending is the piggies owners were found later and they have now been re-united with their piggy family again. The police have just called back to see me and thank me for everything, which was very nice of them, they were introduced to Piglet and Cleveland, who were both chilled out and unaware of the excitement going on, although Peter did say when he followed me up the mountain to find us he just followed the squeals of the little pigs they were that loud... so a hush has now fallen back on Prestatyn and the mad pig lady has disappeared waiting for the next Pig Signal in the sky! lol ...all this was carried out without my make up on! Shock horror..lol No wonder no one recognised me, good job too! We named the piggies Thelma and Louise. Heres some pigures of them I took on my iPhone. xxx
