And you will number seven sabbaths (shemitahs) of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years will be forty-nine years for you. Then you will sound the horn on the 10th of the seventh month (Tishrei - approx beginning October) on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), you will sound the horn throughout your land. And you will sanctify the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the entire land to all its inhabitants. It will be a jubilee for you and you will return his possession to each man and you will return each man to his family. The fiftieth year will be a jubilee for you. Leviticus 25:8-11. So we know that we are now in a New Covenant through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (See Ephesians 2:14-22). One New Man in Messiah Jesus. All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved. But I find huge keys in the Old Testament relating to times and seasons! Why is 7 proclaimed as the number of rest? Because God not only rested on the 7th day, but gave the seven year Sabbath to His original chosen people. So why is 8 the number of new beginnings? Could this be the beginning of a new cycle of 7 years, yes of course! But also a time of restoration? Satan, the enemy who wars against us all in the spiritual realms no matter your religion. (Ephesians 6:10-18). The thief who comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10). Could it be that there is an appointed time for data to pay you back everything he stole from you??? And is the year of jubilee a key in this? Not just a 3.5 year cycle, but also a 7 year cycle, and a 49 year cycle? I will elaborate further shortly. Blessings!!!
