#Andalucia #Spain #Travel Sorry Folks, The Rioja Diaries fbk page has been embarrassingly slow getting off the ground. Contrary to popular opinion this not because Im in a permanent state of intoxication (though Id love to be) but rather the fact that living on a building site is proving much harder and less romantic than I had originally thought. Hopefully in 2 weeks we will have hot water, a shower, a toilet, a kitchen and maybe, if I play my cards right, a washing machine. The electrics are so bad here that we only have one socket that wont burn the house down if we use it. Apart from all the above, life is pretty swell. Ive got so many stories to tell that its going to be difficult to know where to start. I cant wait to hole myself away in the little room that Ive earmarked for myself as a study and start the first instalment of The Rioja Diaries. My little room used to be a stable and there is a fabulous manger in it which I intend to use as a wine cooler and also a place to hide my stash of chocolate and other treats.
