Ander Herrera was named Chevrolet FC’s man of the match for his performance against LA Galaxy .The Spaniard played the full 90 minutes and was instrumental in Manchester United‘s 7-0 demolition of LA Galaxy as he laid on three assists and was involved in so much of United’s good play. It wasn’t just his assists that earned him so much praise as his overall performance lived up to and exceeded expectations placed on him for his debut. Herrera may only have played one game in a United shirt but because of how well he performed, he has created an aura around himself already. The big test for Herrera now is whether he can continue that fine form into the next three pre-season games against AS Roma, Inter Milan and Real Madrid as they will be much bigger tests than LA Galaxy.That being said, Herrera will be delighted with his debut and it should fill him with plenty of confidence.
