Andon Kalchev (1910–1948) was a macedonian revolutionary, one of the leaders of the Ohrana, a pro-bulgarian paramilitary formation in Southern Macedonia during World War II. Yugoslav partisans betrayed him to the Greeks. Because of his activity, he was sentenced to death by Greek military tribunal, and was executed by firing squad on August 27, 1948. His last words in front of a firing squad were: Long live Macedonia!.
