#Andoni politics: APC Heading Towards Implosion! The saying that a stitch in time saves nine will be the leading light to save the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Andoni from a looming dearth as strange bed fellows have taken over the control of the party with jokers buried in their pockets. The APC in Andoni ironically is now on bazzar sales ... going! going!! gone!!!... and once the basket is empty, they leave it as good as dead. It is indubitably true that the party is drifting off its sailable route inspite of its avowed CHANGE credo thereby leaving a lot of party faithfuls in doubt. The future of the party in Andoni appears bleak especially, in the face of antagonizing and uncompromising divides. Who gets what is measured along dividing lines and less about collective contributions of members and country men for which interest the party exist to serve. For those who have lost hope in the party, they say, it is the same people, nothing has changed except the name. For those with some residual faith, they say, we are still loyal..o. It is worrisome that greed and unbridled crave to amass fortunes is the stock in trade of most party men, while others wait at the mercy of God. If the APC in Andoni must thrive, those behind the operation take-it-all must be shown the way out. Unfortunately these attitudes were some of the percieved evils spotted and rejected in the former party with the hope that there will be renewed spirit of leadership and followership but all of that appears to be a mirrage, as nothing has CHANGED or about CHANGING for better or best. Again not a few have expressed worry over what could be described as hijack of the party along divides. The few opportunists who belong in these divides do not mean well for the party. For such, this is my turn, they say. For these crop of politicians now recycled by the APC, Andonians are already tired of their story, but with the APC chasing them away through the front door, only to bring them in through the backdoor is most worrisome. It means then that CHANGE must be re-defined if the APC claims to CHANGE is anything to go by. Therefore, if the APC must survive, it should, as a matter of urgency reverse the old oder of doing things to do it right. This is a clarion call. ##
