Andrea Hines Marshall, Leigh Ann Allen, Mary Fraust, Kristen Marino Do you think that Niles and Daphnes relationship was unrealistic? I ask this because of a comment someone left on a post of mine. They said that they felt that Niles and Daphne didnt have enough things in common for their relationship to work. They were as different as night and day. Others said that they felt Daphne really did change a lot after she got with Niles, she wasnt the same person she had been in earlier seasons and was a bit more aggressive. I do agree that Daphne did become more aggressive but she still had her little eccentricities with her stories about her brothers. Now in season 11 she was quite moody but I just attributed that to her pregnancy. A lot of women are like that when they are pregnant, their hormones are going nuts. Now in the scenes after David was born, I thought Daphne was so sweet, loving and nurturing with both David and Niles. Niles looked over at Daphne holding David and realized just how lucky he was. He had everything he had ever dreamed of. I thought that was very sweet, and I had tears in my eyes watching that. Now my husband and I do have a few things in common, but there are a lot of things that we dont but that doesnt mean I still dont love him. I mean hes more shy and introverted than I am but I love him for who he is. Thats what made Niles fall for Daphne, she was who she was, and she didnt try to be something she wasnt. Even Daphne helped Niles loosen up some after they got together, I mean you had Island Niles and then when Daphne introduced Niles to fast food, he became addicted! In my opinion Niles and Daphne were perfect for each other. I know that Im probably more than likely looking through rose colored glasses when I see them together but thats how I feel. I dont care if Daphne did a complete 180 with her personality, I would still love her character just because Niles loved her. He wouldnt have felt the way he did about her if she had been anything like Maris or Mel, even Daphne couldnt stand Maris or Mel. I know she would never act like them either! But anyway let me know if you think that Niles and Daphne were incompatible and if Daphne changed way too much, I really want your opinion! Thanks! :D P.S.
