Andrew this is what HEART/NTA is already doing In accordance with section 4 (E) of the HEART Act, the Organisation is charged with ensuring that there exists an adequate number of persons trained for employment in the technical and vocational fields. This training maintains a workforce equipped with the emerging skills needed to remain relevant in a rapidly changing and dynamic global marketplace. The HEART Trust/NTA has been assisting Jamaicans with the tools needed to acquire the most cutting edge and innovative skills in sectors as diverse as Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and Hospitality. Our graduates are responsible for creating complex computer programmes as well as making their mark in Jamaicas expanding Creative Services industry. The HEART Trust/NTA, through diversifying and strengthening the Nations human resource capabilities, is active in promoting local and international investments in Jamaica, through fruitful partnerships with international agencies and prominent local bodies.
