Andy Murray rewrites British Tennis history! A thoroughly deserving win over a never-say-die Djokovic gives Britain a genuine sports icon! I felt happy for Murray, for it takes tremendous courage to overcome self doubt and pressure and live up to the expectations of an entire nation! With a creaking Nadal and Father Time catching up with Federer, we can expect many more classic duels from Murray and Djoker in days to come! I felt a little sorry for Djokovic who had to fight not only his opponent but all those thousands of raucous spectators who were rooting for Murrray and willing him to lose! He was quite gracious in defeat to compliment Murray without offering excuses!
