Andy and I are home from the hospital now. The doctor was reading the results of the CT scan. He said everything looks fine and he noted that he saw my left ovary. And my jaw dropped open. Confused. I dont have a left ovary. I had a hysterectomy almost a year ago. In 2009 I had to have half of my left ovary removed. During the hysterectomy last year, I had to have everything removed. I dont have a left ovary. The doctor then ordered some more tests. And it turns out that I have a tumor the size of an ovary. I guess that explains all the weight loss, hair loss, fatigue, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. I thought I was over with the cancer scare. The other 2 masses that were removed during my hysterectomy were tiny. This one is not so tiny. Its the size of an ovary. I hate Endometriosis and all the trouble it causes. I think Im strong enough and fierce enough to face this. But I dont have insurance and we cannot afford Affordable Health Care. Right now Im just stunned. I dont know what were going to do. I tried to get a fundraiser started before. But no one was interested in helping. And my mother cant do it by herself. Im not even sure what to feel right now. Sort of numb. And lost.
