Andy our vet came to see Bob yesterday to see if he was micro chipped as he came with no passport. Well .... He is. What Andy told me next astounded me. Little Bobster is a pretty old pony. He could be 25 yrs!! You would never believe that looking at him but his teeth tell a different tale. This explains why he was so good on the horsebox. Obviously a much cherished and active childs pony in his youth. I wonder what other things hes gonna share with me. Were gonna see what he thinks about being ridden soon now vi know hes a veteran and Im gonna get in touch with the Welsh pony and cob society to see if they can issue a duplicate passport. Really hope they can as this will give me access to his exact age and ancestors . Fingers crossed
