Mr. Carter is currently and HPA director/officer and has been involved with HPA since its inception. He has both decades of successful financial futures trading/leadership at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and substantial nationwide experience nurturing new enterprises. With inside insight on the process of early-stage investing, he will offer a potentially demystifying appraisal of the high-risk/high-return practice of turning concepts into game changing companies. In addition to starting Hyde Park Angels, Jeff is active with area entrepreneurship via One Design Company and The Coop. A former Chicago Mercantile Exchange member and on its Board of Directors, he helped orchestrate CME’s highly successful IPO.
