Angel Wings Awareness of SIDS..Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Cot Death. PLEASE BE AWARE THIS WILL UPSET MANY. Dont read if you have a new baby its not to cause upset but Awareness. Sadly there are many mums in our private groups who feels this heartache every day n iv wrote it drawing on their experience n heartache. I hold my beautiful baby in my arms. I enjoy this 2am feed just me and you. Your eyes are on mine as your tiny fingers wrap around my thumb. You have my nose and your Dads eyes and smile. Tomorrow we will go to the park and feed the ducks. Then off to see Grandma your the apple of her eye. I know Grandad has a new teether for you to chew. Your nicely fed now and taken all your milk. I rock you gently back to sleep. I kiss your cheek and lie you back in your cot and I creep back to bed. Morning comes and I slowly walk to your cot. NO! Everything now goes into slow motion as I see you laid there blue and silent. I reach down and your so cold. My screams even now today ring in my head. Ambulance and police arrive and your taken from me. Hours later im allowed to finally go back in my own home and hold you again. No crime.Just you fell asleep. My whole life changed the day you fell asleep. I wish too that I could fall asleep. No more trips to the park and feed the ducks. Grandmas smile has faded. Daddys pride and joy has gone. Mummys heart is broken in two. Since the day you fell asleep. MS Angel Wings xx
