Angel and Sunset are two older dogs located in Stephentown, NY. Their guardian is very sick and can no longer care for them. Both dogs are both very loving and sociable. Angel, the large blonde, is 11 – very calm but a little overweight. Sunset is 12 - very small for her breed and almost as active as a puppy! She is on medication for epilepsy but is currently not having any seizures and is due for a vet appointment to wean her off the medication. Their guardian would like to see them placed together since they have a 9 year bond. She would also have final approval on the new adopters and at his time would prefer for them to go directly into a home instead of through foster care. The dogs are currently being cared for in their own home. If there is someone out there who can provide a loving home for Angel and Sunset, please contact Amy at 518-794-7274. Our friend Kim, a volunteer with Golden Retriever rescue, has agreed to help with applicant screenings and we will re-visit the idea of asking their guardian to put them in foster care if a home cannot be found.
