Angels? Aliens? Dust Illusion? Depends on who you listen to, but - TopicsExpress

Angels? Aliens? Dust Illusion? Depends on who you listen to, but I saw this light at sunrise over the canyon walls of the Colorado River, river right down from Willow Beach about 5 miles. Ive spent over 1,000 days sleeping outside, so I know the stars and sky pretty well, as does the instructor that was standing behind me equally frozen, so we would recognize something out of the ordinary like this. The 12-year olds I was with said they had seen it the night before as well; they were facing the river, and I had my back to it, so missed it. They just thought it was a shooting star moving back and forth across the sky (that would have been one hell of a shooting star, so no way). Another women in our group saw it, and said it was Angels, Slimy Aliens, or Nuclear Bomb. Uh, Ok. I dont have any idea what it was, but it was amazing. This photo sadly does it no justice, it was this enormous, bright, yellow gold orb, backlit with giant rays shooting in either direction from the bottom. Only the kids saw the night one that apparently others saw as well. It then just dissolved into the air. I had my camera in my hand, but was too shocked and in awe to take a photo. ktvu/gallery/news/local/viewers-sport-bring-light-over-sky-bay-area-sacram/gCNJ2/#6123957
