Anger Mgmt Creates Tour to Kick Start Musical Careers Los Angeles, CA – May 6, 2013 – Anger Management, a music management company established in 2008, is building momentum for the first annual Anger Mgmt Tour to help indie bands kick start their musical careers. The tour, starting in September 2013 and ending in October with another immediately following in March 2014, will include 20 cities in 30 days with two international bands and four local bands. At the end of the tour, two of the bands will be chosen to advance to the next Anger Mgmt Tour. For consideration, bands must submit their demo to Reverbnation. Judges will include Kevin Lyman, creator of Warped and Mayhem Tours; staff members from Anger Mgmt.; Reverbnation; Ernie Ball; NRG Artists as well as Jay Baumgardner known for his collaboration with Ugly Kid Joe, Sevendust, Papa Roach, Godsmack, Three Days Grace and more. “We have a great team ready to help advance the music careers of some of the top undiscovered music out there,” commented Chris Cardenas, founder of Anger Mgmt. “The first part of the tour will focus on venues in the Midwest. As we advance in 2014, we hope to bring the tour nationwide providing opportunities for more bands to participate.” The tour will also include a stop at in Austin, TX in March 2014 during the time frame of one of the largest music festivals in the country. The Anger Mgmt Tour will encompass everything a band needs to get in front of their existing fans as well as new fans. The ‘package’ includes a local, regional and national public relations and social media campaign, provided by Public Relation Divas, targeting blogs, newspapers, TV, websites and magazines; product endorsement opportunities; cross promotion from affiliates and partners; merchandising opportunities; and more! Hey Sugar and Cruz have already been added to the lineup. Hey Sugar, HeySugarBand, offers a blend of vintage and modern, a contrast between heavy music and apassive ideology. Cruz, hailing from Brazil and signed by NRG Artists, has played at SXSW as well as at Kevin Lyman’s Warped Tour and have played alongside Alice in Chains, Megadeth, P.O.D. and more.
