Angie took a shirt priced $9.99 to the counter to pay. The cashier cut the tag off and said it is $12.99. SERIOUSLY? He asked her if she still wanted it. Of course she said, no, not for $12.99. Me: by law, you have to sell the shirt for what its marked. Him: someone made a mistake. Me: your mistake, not mine. And you have to sell it at that price. Him: all the shirts on that wall are $12.99 Me: I picked up one shirt out of a pile. I never even looked at any other ones. Its not my fault its marked different. Him: someone make mistake, I not sell it that way Me: its against the law to not sell it to me for the price it is marked. Him: I dont care Me: I can call the law Him: go ahead Me: let me use your phone Him: I not give you my phone. You have cell phone, you your phone Me: do I really need to call the law to get you to sell that shirt to me for $9.99 Him: you dont scare me Me: youre not even an American and you have no idea how to run an honest American business. Youre a terrible businessman. At that point I walked out and was going to call the police but the fan said that it wasnt worth it for $3.00. It probably wasnt, but what a horrible, horrible way to run a store. Avoid Michaels Sportswear on the strip in Gatlinburg, unless you go in to tell them you will not buy from him, ever. What a tool.
