Animal Rights Group have been bringing this case of the Horse Beating in Mosta Malta to the attention of the Animal Welfare Council since we received the video clip in May 2014. As I was one of the two democratically elected NGOs voted on the AWC and both of us having been denied the right to sit on the Council without any reason given,we still attended the meetings,and this video was entrusted to us to call for justice!. The person who took the video also sent a copy to PETA. As an NGO I had been constantly asking what is happening about this cruelty case,and all I kept getting as a reply from the Council was that The case is not solid enough to go to court but the police are still looking into it !!! ....seven months later,still no result.....Disgraceful !. PETA thought the same as us and as nothing has been done since May.....seven months ago... they decided that the video needs to be viewed by ALL!. These acts simply can not be ignored !!!!!
