Animal husbandry at Lakeside where all involved are retired herdsmen and love the animals they care for ! They look after them , feed them and bath them as they are their own children ! The VET visits every six weeks and all animals are inspected and treated ! This is not a commercial operation and all income of the estate is spent on improvements and rest given away to charity ! This was the way my old man and the old lady ran the estate ! In their life time full of achievements , glories , victories , loses , disappointments and heart aches but I can not find one person who will run down the old couple ! They survived a lifetime full of political disasters ! Leaving for England my old lady kissed me good bye and got me to promise that I shall never ever ride motor bikes or swim in lonely deep waters ! She had lost two cousins doing just that ! Any thing else I could do ! And I did ! What a delightful life I have had !
