If you would like to support a sanctuary for unwanted animals - the old, ugly and terminally ill that no other organisation will accept, then please follow Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary. Fiona, her mother and her partner Martin care for more than 400 animals. They do not receive any funding apart from donations from supporters. The balance of the £8,000 a month that it costs to run the sanctuary comes from their own pockets. Unlike many charities, none of them take a single penny for themselves. No mortgage, office rental, clothing allowance, travelling expenses. Every penny goes to feeding, housing and veterinary care for the animals. Even very small monthly donations make a big difference.
