Animals can re-generate bodily tissue, if their arm, leg, etc. Is chopped off, they can grow it back, hue-mans, re-generate fingernails, skin, hair, but if a limb is cut off, you dont think you can grow it back, and due to your doubtedly thinking, the signals given to the brain and relayed to the blood cells dont actualize it, so it doesnt re-generate... which today there are doctors helping people re-re-generate their limbs, and even organs, just by changing their states of consciousness, charging them a grip.... so it can be done...
