Anjeed Innova Group Leaders Participate in World Economic Forum Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria – 8 May, 2014 – Key members of the Anjeed Innova Group leadership team were invited to participate in the World Economic Forum on Africa (WEFA) in a Forum concerning “Private Sector Participation in Achieving Access-to-Power.” As forerunners in the effort to provide West Africans with reliable power by focusing on renewal energy development, the Anjeed Innova Group brings firsthand knowledge and growing experience to the table. The Group’s Anjeed Kafanchan Solar is an indigenous independent power company with a large-scale solar energy pilot project scheduled for construction in Kafanchan, Kaduna State. More than 250,000 Nigerians will gain access-to-power through the Anjeed Kafanchan 15MW Solar Project. Anjeed Innova Group CEO Mr. Gideon Nyan and Anjeed Innova Group President Mr. Thomas Sherman were pleased with the openness of the forum. They also appreciate the strong government focus on solar power. Officials from the governments of Nigeria, Ghana and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were key participants in the Forum. Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan was pleased at the nation’s selection as host of the 24th WEFA. Global business and political leaders from more than 70 countries came to Abuja to look and work toward Africa’s bright economic future. In harmony with the goals of WEFA, Anjeed Innova Group will continue its efforts to empower West Africans through sustainable development while preserving Africa’s environmental future.
