Ann Dotson would have been 95 yrs young today.She and her husband J.L.Dotson Jr.owned several businesses in the town of Gilbert in the 40s and until 1952 when they moved to Florida. They built there house there, which is now the home of Nancy Mounts Justus, another one of their buildings is the home of Ward Hardware and Valices Quilt Shop .on the front of the building in blue tiles is 19 Dotson 47 .....Ann was my husbands Aunt , his Mother , Maple (Squirt) Chapmans sister.Eddie was borned in the Dotson house, the same year the Ward Hardware building was built.
