Anna(8) is quite the cabin-loving poet: A STORM ON THE LAKE The waves move left and right and form white caps and trees sway and fall. Lights flicker, lightning strikes, the wind blows and leaves fall. Waves go through the dock, leaves make leaf twisters, rain falls very hard and soft and when the storm is done every thing is calm. (written after a stormy weekend on Lake Vermilion) MINK LAKE IN THE MORNING The lake is calm there is a little breeze that makes the lake have little ripples. It is sunny. The animals are very pretty. The red squirrels bug me because of the noise they make. There are little frogs that sun on the shore. There is little fish sun in the water! Mink Lake is a wonderful place.
