Anna Rola-Noworyta has just published a textbook in general chemistry for high school students but also for first year undergraduate students. The book (entitled in Polish Chemia - Repetytorium dla przyszłych maturzystów i studentów) is a part of a highly-appreciated series of professional teaching and was written from together with Krzysztof M. Pazdro, one of the most acclaimed chemistry book author in Poland. This is the authors third common book, earlier Anna was a coauthor of two high school and academic excercise books in chemistry (Polish titles: Zbiór zadań z chemii dla liceów i techników and Akademicki zbiór zadań z chemii ogólnej). Katarzyna Sołtys was awarded in the NCN Preludium funding scheme for the research in the Design, synthesis and characterisation of molecular luminescent materials and coordination polymers formed from organozinc precursors (99 000 PLN). Kamil Sokołowski received a Ministry of Science Iuventus Plus grant for his project concerning the Fixation of CO2 on well-defined organozinc systems: towards novel nanomaterials based on zinc carbonate cores (295 000 PLN).
