LM-2s typically show disbursements in roughly the following amounts: 7% - benefits to union officials 15% - contributions, gifts, donations to politicians 14% - publicity and professional fees 16% - administrative expenses 45% - union salaries and taxes 2% - miscellaneous expenses This leaves little money to assist union members. In fact, in the space for the amount spent on individual members, most unions put zero.
