Announcement of Electronic Cargo Tracking Note in Tanzania We have received an announcement from the Tanzania Ports Authority that as of September 1st, 2013, all import cargoes into the country including transit cargoes will have to be covered by an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN). Service fees are charged for this ECTN, and so these fees will be included in the CIF prices of cars that will be shipped to Dar es salaam, and also the ports of Durban, Mombasa, and Maputo since these ports pass through Dar es salaam port.
