Announcing...2013-2014 CATECHISM REGISTRATION! SEPTEMBER 8th & 16th AFTER 11:00 MASS in the classroom near Church entrance Grade Two Catechism classes (Reconciliation) will be held on alternating Monday nights 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. starting September 30th concluding February 10th Celebration date to be determined. The Grade 2 classes will be largely PARENT LEAD, therefore one parent must attend each lesson with their child. Grade Three and Four Catechism classes (Confirmation & First Communion) will be held on alternating Monday nights 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. starting September 23rd concluding April 14th. Celebration date to be determined. Grade One students are encouraged to participate in a weekly activity which will be included in each week’s bulletin. Please email [email protected] if your child is in Grade One. This will also provide us with contact information for when they are to begin Reconciliation preparation. Grades Five and up are invited to participate in the Youth Choir AND/OR serve as Alter Servers at Mass. Through this ministry our children can serve God and the Church, it is also a great opportunity to build self esteem and skills through PUBLIC service alongside their peers. We encourage parents and children to get involved in the Catechism Program this year. The approach will be a balance of fun and learning so that we can understand the Catholic faith that we are passing on to our children. We gather to create friendships and share with each other on how to live our faith with joy and courage!
