Announcing a new track of the Arizona State University Dietetic Internship Program! This new internship track has just been approved to participate in the Fall 2013 DICAS application system and computer match. Information can be found at this site: healthpromotion.asu.edu/programs/nutrition/graduate/intern/index.htm This new ASU-VA track integrates a 30 credit M.S. Degree in Nutrition Management with an Applied Project and approximately 1400 hours of supervised practice experience at the Phoenix VA Healthcare System (PVAHCS). This is a 1 ½ year (3 semesters and 1 summer) program open to students from throughout the United States. Interns will complete supervised practice during the day and M.S. courses in the evening or online. They also will complete an applied project focusing on a nutrition area of their choice. The ASU/VA Dietetic Internship will be accepting applications through the on-line centralized internship application system, DICAS. Application deadline is September 25, 2013, 11:59 pm Central Time The program will start in January 2014 with 4 interns accepted. General Requirements for Applicants: • Graduate Records Exam (GRE) scores (general test) • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher • Verification statement from an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics This program was just approved, so we are in the process of having it added to the Academy website, the DICAS application system, and D&D Digital.
