Announcing our Inaugural AMYLOIDOSIS SUPPORT GROUPS meeting in Durham, North Carolina on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9 AM – 2:30 PM. Our guest speakers will be Dr. Janice Wiesman, Neurologist-Boston University Amyloidosis Center, Dr. Sascha Tuchman, Hematology/Oncology-Duke University Medical Center and a Prothena rep that will discuss the new Phase 3 trial and update us on the Phase 1/2 trial. The doctors will be there to teach us about amyloidosis and to answer your questions.You will meet other patients and know that you are not alone in your fight. Please come and join us if you are a patient, caregiver, family member or friend. Those attending will receive a complimentary light breakfast and lunch. We will meet in the Lower Level Lecture Hall of the Duke University North Pavilion Building located at 2400 Pratt Street in Durham, NC. Parking is available in the adjacent deck and there is a charge of $2 per hour or up to $6 per day.
