The Final Program is now online, please click here to view the PDF. The official app for the AIA/SCS Joint Annual Meeting is now available for download. The dedicated meeting app allows attendees to interact with both organizations programs and easily create custom schedules. It is available for all iOS and Android devices and has a basic web version. Anyone can download the app and view the program, but only registrants of the meeting can sign in and activate the custom scheduling and in-app messaging. Users can opt-out of messaging at any time through the user profile settings. Usernames and passwords are distributed via email each day, but can also be retrieved from registration and the AIA Kiosk. The app features include: Full program information for both organizations as well as affiliated groups Scheduling tools to create a customized agenda Exhibitor & exhibit hall information Opt-in registrant listing with in-app messaging functionality Twitter integration Venue and area maps All general information about the conference, as well as other features Download iOS app Download Android app Access Mobile Website Frequently Asked Questions 1. How do I login to the app? Registered attendees can login to the app using the email they registered under as their username. Passwords are mailed out daily and can be obtained on-site at the AIA Kiosk and registration desk. To access the login screen, please select the My Profile option. For mobile phone users this option will appear on the second screen. Simply swipe to get the the additional app functions. Once you select the My Profile icon, a screen where you can enter your login credentials will appear. 2. How do I create a custom schedule? To add any event to your custom schedule, open the event within the app to the detail view. Then click on the Add to Schedule link. Items can be removed from your schedule by clicking the Remove from My Schedule button once they have been added. All events you have added are available on the My Schedule icon. 3. How does the Web Version work? The web version has nearly the same functionality as the mobile app. Once you have logged into the website via the My Profile option, it will link to your account. Any custom scheduling and messaging will be available on both the web and mobile platforms you have logged in to. About the Meeting The AIA and SCS Joint Annual Meeting (AM) brings together professional and vocational archaeologists and classicists from around the world to share the latest developments from the field. This well-attended conference is the largest and oldest established meeting of archaeologists and classical scholars in North America. The AM has grown tremendously over the past decade not only in attendance, but also in the scope of papers presented, demographic of attendees, and focus on professional development, cultural heritage management, new technologies and other topics of critical importance to the field. Each January more than 3,000 attendees from over 35 countries and nearly every state in the union attend this Joint Annual Meeting, allowing for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between top professionals in the field, post-doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students, as well as archaeology enthusiasts, ARCHAEOLOGY magazine subscribers, and AIA local society members.
